Eben Brookes School is a not for profit, Independent multi-cultural boarding co-educational facility providing education to children in Kenya and neighbouring countries. The aim of EBS is to unlock the full potential of every child's gift and talent.

Eben means 'Rock' or a strong foundation. Eben comes from the word Ebenezer which means (God has helped us). Brookes' root word is Brook and it means a fresh water stream. That is why these two words combine to epitomise a strong foundation for life founded on sound and relevant streams of practical knowledge to equip the learners for future challenges.

The school is founded on Christian ethos and these ethos form the core values we teach the children. Eben Brookes School is not affiliated to any church or church group. Eben Brookes School provides a loving and caring environment for all children regardless of their faiths coupled with high quality teaching to assist students in the development of their personal faith and character.

The core Mission of EBS is to provide a stimulating environment where learners can discover, grow, flourish and achieve their full academic and extra-curricular potential. We help them to develop into well-rounded individuals capable of making a positive contribution in their national and global communities.

EBS is located on the slopes of Mount Kenya in the picturesque Timau plains which are in Meru County, Kenya. The school is half way between Nanyuki and Meru Town.

At the end of the term transport is provided to Nairobi JKIA for those students who come from other countries.
